We believe that meaningful curriculum is rich, personalized and rigorous. It is authentic and engaging to students, and encourages an inquiry-based approach to learning. By attending to processes and dispositions, it goes beyond just communicating content knowledge.
Ideally, curriculum units are viewed and planned as part of a continuum, with the goal of creating engaging, relevant courses of study. When this approach is taken, individual attributes of quality become present both on the unit/task level, and within the entire curriculum.
We support educators who are looking to evaluate, revise, or write curriculum that meets these criteria, using our attributes of quality curriculum as a guide.
